The 2025 Cheer Program, in collaboration with the Northern Arizona Avengers Football and Cheer, is designed to cultivate passion, skill, and team spirit among young athletes in the Northern Arizona region. This year, we've revamped our program to bring more energy, more inclusivity, and more high-flying excitement than ever before.

This season, our Cheer Program is offering two distinct group options to cater to the diverse ages and skill levels of our participants, ages 5-14. This approach ensures that each cheerleader is placed in a setting that best suits their age, experience, and familial connections to our football teams.

Mighty Mites Group: Designed primarily for younger cheerleaders aged 5-8, the Mighty Mites is an ideal group for those starting their cheer journey. It's a larger grouping, providing a nurturing environment for the youngest participants. However, older cheerleaders (up to age 14) are also welcome to join this group, especially if they prefer to cheer alongside younger siblings or family members who are part of the Mighty Mites football team.

Minors Group: Tailored for cheerleaders aged 9-14, with a focus on those who have more experience in cheerleading. The Minors group is perfect for developing advanced skills and techniques. Younger cheerleaders, as young as 5, are also welcome in this group, particularly if they have siblings or family members in the Minors football team, or if they're looking for a more challenging cheer environment.

Both groups are integral to our 2024 Cheer Program and offer unique opportunities for growth, camaraderie, and skill development. We encourage parents and cheerleaders to choose the group that best aligns with their age, experience, and family connections within the Northern Arizona Avengers Football and Cheer community. Practice for both cheer groups will be the same days/times just separated in two groups. Many activities and special events may be held together as one large Cheer group throughout the season as well.

Additionally, we are pleased to offer competitive opportunities for those interested in more than sideline cheer. We will be participating in various optional competitions. Please note that these competitions are not included in the base price. However, we will provide opportunities for fundraising to support these endeavors.
